I Tried The Microsoft Site...No Use...Anyone Know What Going Down?

:w:

The first questions. What operating system are you using and what version of Media player?

I suppose you have tried looking in the option-menu if there's anything you can do from up there. If really nothing helps my next try would be to un-install and then re-install to see if the problem stays. Perhaps even do a registry cleaning inbetween un- and re-installing.

I'm Using XP With Service Pack 1 (Not 2) And It's Windows Media Player 10...

Exact Version Is WMP 10.10.10.3802

I just saw your post. 10 should work fine. Do as Steve said un-nstall and re-install

Yes JazakAllah For The WMP 10 Link Bro...I'm Just Doing That Now...

JazakAllah To Both For The Help

Good Thing Iz That YES! Its Fixed Now..But It Actually Was This Dodgy File Conversion Program I Installed That Messed Thingz Up...But JZK For All Your Suggestionz And Help Peoplez...

Mystery Solved...

I also kinda have a problem with it. I was deleting some files on my computer and after that something happen to my Windows Media..Tried to install it again - didn't help..Have anyone got any ideas on how to fix it..Plz
Thanks
Wasalam

LOl, deleting files is tricky
Maybe you should try system-restore?
Do you know how that works?

You Said You Tried To Install Again And It Didnt Help...

Ermmm...Didnt Help What? Whatz The Actualy Problem? Like Dodgy Playback Or Media Player Crashes Or It Doesnt Open Up etc.

Whatz The Actual Problem???

Can't install it at all..It says my operating system is not comptable even though I used to used that same Windows MP..

Hmm...How About..Installing A Previous Version Of WMP..Then Deleting It..And Then Try To Freshly ReInstall The One You Had...

Or Am I just Talkin Alien Language?

Done that...I think I messed it up even more..????

Euhm if system restore didn't work then I don't think there's much I can help you with. You're probably missing some files or important .dll's
There 's a menu where you can check missing dll's but I forgot where.
I would take a quick look if only I hadnd't deleted my windows and switched to linux

Also, this might be pointing out the bleeding obvious, but I'll ask anyway to be safe, when you did a system-restore, are you sure you took a restore-point from before you deleted those files?

Lets ask the same questions. What OS are you using and what version of WMP are you trying to install/re-install?
