I have about 30 audio conversational Arabic files on my PC. To be honest I forgot the source of them They are quite easy to follow. If most of you feel they can be of help, I will be very happy to upload them to my Putfile account and post links to them here. I will only be able to upload 2 or 3 per day as they are large files.

They are a complete basic course in conversational Arabic, in the Saudi dialect. Some of the lessons can be facilitated with a work book, which I do not have. However, just for learning basic conversation they are adequate as is.

Here is a link for Lesson one. Let me know what you think.

How different is Saudi Arabic vs Egyptian Arabic? I am trying to learn the latter.

The primary difference is the pronunciation of the words. The Saudi dialect is a bit closer to the pronunciation used in the Qur'an. The dialects that seem to be the hardest to understand internationaly are the Moroccan Dialect (Mahgrib) and the Yemeni dialect. I origanly learned the Mahgrib, and found that very few people I met understood it. Although the people in Morocco seem to have no problem understanding the Saudi.

Jazak'Allah khair bro for sharing thts really good 4 the ppl whu tryna learn Arabic

Asalamu alaikum,

JazakAllah khair, I've only listened to the first one but I think it'll be helpful for me and many others inshaAllah :). Its a shame theres no books with them or anything, I don't know what half the words mean lol, but its definitely good for pronunciation.

Do you know of any way I can download them straight onto my computer? I think it says I need to buy quicktime pro or something.

JazakAllah again,

Salam:)

At the Moment, I don't think they can be down loaded from Putfile. However, I am going to upload them to another host also that will store them in a downloadable format.

I just opened a yousendit account. I load the files temporaly to it. However, each file will only be stored for 14 days or until 100 people have downloaded it. I just uploaded lesson 1. You can download it here. Remember this link will expire on June 12 or when it has been downloaded by 100 people.

Lesson one download link.

I will finish putting up the putfile links so all can hear them after I have them all posted I will start putting up download links to them on a regular basis.

Jazakhallah Khair brother,
