Converting on the 29th of this month

Sister, when i first converted i did find it hard to begin with as i had no support where i live (no Muslim community) However, i had wonderful support from the sisters on this forum and also gained a lot of knowledge here.
Its been more than 4 years now and i still learn a lot from this forum. :)

Just wanted to post and say that I have said my Shahada. I called a Mosque about an hour and a half from my home and asked them to assist me. I repeated what he said, and then he said, you are a Muslim. I was very happy. He said he would have a sister contact me. That was Monday, and today is Saturday, and I have yet to hear from anyone. I am happy to have converted, but rather disappointed that they did not carry through with having someone contact me. But oh well, I will continue on my own.
