As Salam alaikum

Is there anyone who can help me
I'm crying about my faith
It's either I am a kafir or I'm on the edge of my faith

I cannot perform Salah or fast due to the fact that I have to take strange pills for a weird mental illness bipolar

What do I do
I get strange feeling to convert to Christianity
I cannot control myself
I would hate to go to hell
I don't think I'm a Muslim anymore even though I was born one...!

I love Allaah and I want to follow his Deen
Note I cannot perform Salah due to my mental illness

I need help now
Please I have tons of Islamic books
But I'm just out of it...
 
dude just write out the salah..

...and then maybe read it to yourself a few times a day.

Wa alaykum salam

Read the Qur'an regularly. It's a supernatural book and it has supernatural effects on the believers. There have been so many times when I've been low in faith and have read the Qur'an and have felt better. My dear sister, I want you to know that it's OK to feel overwhelmed. Sometimes life is overwhelming and even the strongest people can feel overwhelmed. You love Allah and that is what matters.

Sister, don't become a christian. Christianity doesn't have its scriptures perfectly preserved. To this day, there are entire denominations that have different books. Protestants have 66 books in their Bibles, but roman catholics have more than 66. How can this be if God promised to preserve the Bible?

I think the person who called me a Jew or a Christian for not performing Salah or fasting was correct

I'm not insane as the kafir doctors claim

Everyday I lose my faith due to me not performing Salah

I get dreams that I am the root calling to shaitan

I love Allaah

I just can't seem to bend down in Salah it's like I'm paralyzed

My religion Islam is the best
I love it

I really need Allaah's help

May Allaah give you all jannah firdows for helping me

I have been suffering from this for 15 years
I get so possessed that I think it's a mental illness rather than a jinnat possession

Every light of Islam it blocks whenever I try to do good deeds of Islam

Once a raqi accurately told me it's a jinnat
But I kept thinking it was mental illness

I am so possessed I can't even think freely...
 
Walikum Salam Sister,

strengthening the roots of eeman will be inshallah the cure to your problem. The worry that you will become a kafir is testimony there is still eeman deep down your heart which Shaitan is trying to delude you. Eeman will come inshallah when you ponder on the Noble Quran and creations of Allah .

No religion is pure EXCEPT Islam and the Noble Quran, the guarded one

Sounds like you're suffering from impulsive thoughts due to Mania maybe. Why can you not pray because you take medication for Bipolar disorder?
 
What problems you face in praying salah due to illness..? You may give fidiya (expiation) against each fast you leave (provided that doctors forbade you to fasting due to illness). Later on you can make up.... Talk to scholars as well
