Salam everyone

during salaah, sometimes its hard to concentrate
i recall bad memories
leads me to bursting out, like crying, tears dropping, water pouring from the eyes, during salaah
sometimes even in the masjid, but i have to tone it down, dont want anyone to see, it can get overwhelming when i read at home in my own space...

is it khushooo, i know deep down im crying to Allah.... this happens very regularly now for the past few years...

i have a few people near and dear to me that im always worrying about

i think im depressed, it comes n goes throughout the day

is my salaah valid?
sometimes even leading me to make mistakes during prayer...

i am seriously thikning about going to see a therapist,m never thought id end up with a shrink or having a mental problem

i am an engineer during the day, it can be hard to concentrate especially as im constantly using mental skill, it does affect my performance sometimes,...

my confidence is very low

please remember me in your prayers.

Crying with khushu is a good thing.
Whether crying over worldly things invalidates prayers is a topic of fiqh, some answers varied.

Here are some opinons

In Al-Mughni, Ibn Qudamah said that if one cries during prayer due to a worldly matter because one got overwhelmed and could not drive the tears away, then the prayer is valid.
Crying in a loud voice over a worldly matter invalidates the prayer according to the four major schools of jurisprudence. Crying due to the fear of Allah does not invalidate the prayer; rather, it is what the Prophet ﷺ used to do quite often, and it is a sign of strong faith:
those who believe in Our verses who, when they are reminded of them, fall down in prostration and exalt [Allah] with praise of their Lord, and they are not arrogant

So brother/sister if you are crying over worldly matters, it is fine but try not to do it loudly incase.

But it seems like you cry when you read the quran and due to your memories, it emotionally gets to you. This is good because you are connecting with Allah and showing how vulnerable you are. this is a sign of humility

Try to keep relying on Allah and if you need a therapist, you should get one.

This is a beautiful dua when in hardship.

O Allah, I am Your slave, son of Your male * servant, and son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your Hand. Your command for me prevails. Your judgement concerning me is just. I beseech You through every name You have, by which You have called Yourself, or which You have sent down in Your Book, or which You have taught to any one of Your creations, or which You have preferred to keep to Yourself among Your guarded secrets, to make the Great Qur’an the springtime of my heart, the light of my eyes, the remedy of my grief, and the dispeller of my anxiety.
