I recently came along certain accusations against the Prophet (PBUH). Somebody alleged that his death was caused by a poisoned lamb given to him for eating by Zainab , a Jewish woman, after the battle of Khaibar. Certain hadiths also state that he suffered from this poisoning till his death. Just wanted to be clarified about this matter.

No, he(S) lived long after that. Battle of Khaibar was in 628, the Prophet(S) passed away in 632.

Dear brother if Prophet Mohammed died from the effect of the poisoned lamb given to him it would conflict with the sayings of the Quran for that He said:{O Messenger, convey what was revealed to you from your Lord. But if you do not, then you would not have delivered His message. And Allah will protect you from the people. Allah does not guide the disbelieving people.} So if he died from the poison effect you will cause a contradiction in the Quran and literally beat Allah's challenge by immuning him from people's harm so keep in mind that his death was a timely measured fate not a second before nor after. May God bless you and guide you to the right path.
