.regarding my interview about london 7/7...it was done completely by my own volition,
i do not represent dewsbury or markaz or any mosque
i am not a community leader or community spokesperson.
no one has told me to post on here or my blog or anywhere else
somethings about my home town which have been in the news and the need for balance and wisdom in a global age
the reason for this thread is for us to realize and remember that we all have different situations and circumstances hence how and why we post on the net will vary
cowardice and selling your imaan is not an option,and inshallah never will be
but wisdom and an awareness of varying circumstances in different communities and countries should make us communicate and post with that in mind.
dewsbury has been in the spotlight many times and will remain so as it has the tablighi headquarters and appears to be the centre of "deobandi" islam in the u.k...obviously debatable
these labels are just that labels,but here i will show how dewsbury is constantly in the spotlight and the work done to balance and maintain some honesty and truth in its image or portrayal.
in no particular order..
we had to deal with britain first protesting outside dewsbury markaz
at 4.10 outside dewsbury markaz..
