I wonder, if I make jokes in class that will kill others of laughing, do also angels laughs at my jokes? Like for example, when I want to take a watermelon and at night at 12:00 me and my friends we ware at the window, then we see suddenly a drunken crazy man, then I throw a watermelon and then it falls into his head, would they( angels) laugh with us? Or, if I sing a song with bad words to someone on Christmas would they(angels) laugh with me? Or, if I do all funny crazy things, would they laugh with me? Because, I’m trying to be a special person to them. Can they laugh at our jokes? Out of curiosity

I afraid that Angels cry for kind of jokes. Is making a joke about other people (drunken man, bad words in singing) Islamic behavior?

If you can make jokes which put people to think and become closer to Allah, the Angels may smile. ;)

Hmm, I’ll try to do this kind of jokes as you said. Oh, I meant here is, when I’m about to throw into a crazy drunken person’s head watermelon and I say bombs away!!!!! Would Angels think that I’m not correct in my head? Because, that drunken person is a non Muslim.

I think the problem with you (and this is very sincere advice) - is that you don't have the intelligence to understand what impacts upon your life and what doesn't.

What is shameful here is I know of children who are not even Baligh yet that have more understanding in what impacts them and what doesn't. So its frankly rather embarrassing that you think on this level. Sometimes I feel like sending your question to a child and relay their answer to you.

My advice to you is to concentrate on the things that will make a difference to you in your Final hour, and then your grave and then your final standing of accountability. Allah SWT is not going to judge you on these issues. Concentrate on the REAL issues that impact in your life.

One of the most telling signs of wisdom from scholars and pious people in past 1400 years of Islam was to ignore things that were meaningless or ignore types of questions that would result in nothing.

If you were to think whether Angels laugh at a joke, think of the millions of permutations that can result from this very topic. Your will reach the point of asking every similarity of your natural experience of life in comparison with an Angel.

How would this change the condition in your grave ? Whether and angel laughs or doesn't , how exactly does that impact in your life ?

Its the second time I am telling you that certain topics when taken too far will eventually reach to the path of Kufr.

What is your exact problem ? Do you have a complex that strokes your ego because your the guy in the class that "asked the ever so different question" ....Do you actually feel "intelligent" asking these questions ?

What do you know about this drunken person? He might be Muslim who has lost his faith at that moment and live in great problems but looking for the way back to Islam in his heart (yes, some Muslims also might have problems with alcohol or drugs or other bad behavior). He can be non-Muslim who later in his life finds Islam (but it doesn´t help him in his path if a Muslim throws him by a watermelon and makes jokes about him).

If your jokes would to be true, you should instead go to check if he is ok, if he needs help and maybe offer a slice of watermelon for him as refreshment. Then he would get a good image about Muslims and Islam.

Why would you throw a watermelon at someone??? What happened to treating everyone kindly?? Honestly i hate to say this but im starting to agree with Supernova here. Somehow i dont think throwing something at someone is funny ( it just shows immaturity and cruelty) and also will create a negative view of Islam. Not to mention u could seriously hurt someone by doing that. Im not trying to sound arrogant or anything or judge you astaghfirallah but i think you need to take a step back and re-evaluate what exactly Islam teaches us and how to treat people.

as far as I know that the jinns can make jokes and laugh, and the angels smile
