KEEP YOUR CHILDREN ENTERTAINED WITH OTHER THAN THE TV/COMPUTER THIS SUMMER HOLIDAY

We specialise in tailor made educational guides for children based on their passions and interests. Our guides include all the traditional subjects: Literacy, Numeracy, Science - but they are fresh, fun and different. We integrate Islamic lesssons into the guide, so whilst they are learning about cars, dinosaurs, or butterflies, they are learning about their deen. Yes, we can integrate Islamic studies into a guide about anything from sports cars to princesses!

Our children are the next Muslim generation. Why not keep them entertained with a TMEG Guide rather than spending hours and hours in front of the TV/Computer.

Deen and knowledge can also be attained by a computer visiting these beneficial forums,am I not right? Prophet Muhammad(SAWS) once said "attaining knowledge is better than praying all night". Attaining knowledge from any where is still knowledge. Even Television gives stories with morals in then that need to be considered. So shall we stop watching that? You can attain knowledge in all places,if you take a closer look insha'Allah.

If my parents take away my technical units,I will only learn minimum until I get them back. It's the childs personaility and how he/she uses it's time on the computer wisely or not. Majority of them use them for Facebook or online gaming while minimum children in this world use the computer time efficently.

Asalamuu alaykum

Yes, of course modern day technology has its advantages. However, we believe that the majority of Muslim children are actually being ruined by the TV and the computer. As a result, their role models are not the wonderful personalities of the sahabah, but rather computer characters etc.

We actually try to use ICT within our guides in an Islamic manner. We at TMEG believe that Muslim children need to be raised as individuals rather than following what their peers are doing.

There are many ills in our society that our Muslim children are unfortunately being sucked into. It is time we, as their parents and educators encouraged them towards a fuller and holistic lifestyle.

I don't see anything wrong with Computers or TV's as long as they are used in moderation. Spending more then 2-3 hours a day on a computer is dangerous.

Also, people, a great way to entertain your kid, build them a obstacle course. My dad and I are building one for my military training, but you can make one for any age and it be fun, and good physical exercise. Especially if they are also a sports participant.
