Downloading YouTube Video

I used to use http://keepvid.com/ to download videos from youtube as MP4 or flv video, then for some reasons I started to got some errors which made me used a link come as a bookmark under your menus bar in firefox browser called "Get YouTube video" to get them as MP4 videos

Are you aware of any other reliable tools?

I used to have real player but the quality is not that good with flv video. Adding to that I need MP4 videos because I saved them on my ipod touch which doesn't recognize flv videos

sister use realplayer to download vids then watch it on vlc player

convert flv vids to mp4 its easy!!

^ some converters convert videos well, but when I transfer it to the ipod they seemed to have some errors during converting.

yeah MPEG-4...which I just call MP4 for short:X
have you ever used that app? does it convert all the video becuz some just convert 50% of it

^ It worked, It took a long time to convert a flv lecture of 1 hr and 20 min but it worth it.

I wished I had a direct tool that download from youtube in MPEG-4 format, but khair inshaAllah, this is better than nothing. JazakAllah Khair for help

Yeah there is an option for that. You can also try to use keepvid.com where you can paste the youtube link there to download. or try those other options brother zAk mentioned

If you want download youtube videos easily, I suggest Internet Download Manager. It installs a plugin in your browser which enables you to download videos in a single click.

To convert any format to any format, I suggest SUPER - It's free and it works like a charm.

I have used IDM (Internet Download Manager) for more than one year but the problem is that there is no reliable free version you can use, all of them are either trials for 30 days, or full version but you gotta use the patch which bring you many viruses

its working for me and others i can download in all 3 versions

yes it is but why u said that and thats why people making way available for people to download videos
