Yesterday evening it was 35° Celsius, and very muggy here, when a nasty Super-Cell thunderstorm front moved in.

It was already 30° Celsius at 9:00 AM!
I knew my blackberries were indeed over-ripe, and could thereby loose them all in the upcoming storm, had I not picked them all in preparation.
(Today, I baked hand-held pies 'Piroschki' or 'Pasties' in English.)

Anyway, as the storm approached, dark, and ugly, and the trees started swaying, I had just finished praying Asr, plus my usual optional Tasbeeh Fatimah Az-Zahra. Then I prayed to Allah for rain please, and a lot, but no large hail, or storm damage, and to please protect the birds, especially the little ones, plus my dear Wood Pigeons!

When I finished praying, I observed something quite remarkable on my live Doppler Weather Radar App:

The most intense part of the storm, suddenly swung southeast of me, and even all of the seemingly endless lightning strikes, only hit the town next to me!

We only got gentle rain, but a lot, for a long time, with some tiny hail just for fun. My Wood Pigeons were hanging on good up it the tree tops, lifting their wings left, then right, for a good shower, and then preening their feathers. Quite refreshing indeed, after such a hot day!

There were however, several tornados south of the Elbe River, basements were flooded all over, trees uprooted, and Deutsche Bahn's overhead railway 15,000 Volt electric lines, over the tracks, were in many places out of service, stopping the trains. But here, not one Hibiscus in my garden had lost a flower pedal!

Allahu Akbar!!!
As Salaamu Alaykum!🕊️♥️
