This world is so seductive when everything is fine.
When we're worried, it's because the Dunya is not going well.
When we turn our back to Dunya, it starts chasing us. As soon as you start caring, it goes away.
When we're into Dunya, our hearts start forgetting why we're here and forgets the sweetness of the deen.
And what is Dunya compared to Jannah?
It's nothing, piece of dust. Everything in this world breaks, fades away, corrupts, gets dirty, spoils. In Jannah, everything gets better and better and never spoils, never fades away, never gets boring, never corrupts. Today you buy a new phone and you're super excited. In two years it's worthless and you need another one.
In this Dunya, there's always time missing, always hurry with something. In Jannah, there's plenty of time for anything. It's eternal. Example: You want to lay down and enjoy TV, you have maybe 1-3 hours... In Jannah, you can lay down and enjoy for hundreds of years. No hurry.
You want chocolate, you have to go to store and buy it and the amount is limited. And it's not good for your health, unless it's some sort of healthy product. In Jannah, you want chocolate, it comes to you, it tastes better than any chocolate ever in your Dunya life and you can eat it as you wish and it's fine, nothing is going to ache, nor you'll get acne, weight, nothing.
Dunya is not world for life. It's a bridge to life. If we stay too focused on the bridge, a storm can come and destroy the bridge. Just cross the bridge!
Dunya makes us lazy towards Allah, makes us miss prayers, lack doing other good deeds and finally we become empty and unhappy.
This is reminder to all of us. Let's always behave the same way as we do during hardships - loads of prayer, dhikr, Quran... Let the Dunya chase you, not the other way around.
