As a Muslim living in a northern European country, I'm concerned about the upcoming Ramadan which falls during the summer months. In our region, daylight can last up to 20 hours during this time. How should Muslims approach fasting in these circumstances where the time between dawn and sunset is extremely long? Are there alternative ways to observe the fast that are permissible according to Islamic scholars? I'm particularly interested in learning about different scholarly opinions on this matter and how Muslims in similar geographical locations handle this situation :heated:.
