Feeling lost

Hi All,

I’ve been on here a few times .. struggling to find a spouse but i do get proposals but from men that i dont feel right for me. Im starting to feel hopeless.

Anyways im not on here to talk about that. Im here becus i feel like allah isnt helping me ... my iman (faith) is getting weaker and i feel myself distancing from god.

And if i turn to him this whisper in the back of my head keeps bothering me “ whats the point” “god isnt gona help”

Please guys i could really do with some guidance to get back on track .. and not feel super depressed!

Sister, Have you tried seeking through parents or if not how about the mosque? I am sure there are some brothers who are seeking marriage as well. That whisper is shaytan. Wake up in tahajjud and make dua to Allah. He is every merciful.

I have tried mosque but ive just not liked any brothers as in i dont feel like they are right for me. We dont have same interests etc


Sometimes i think maybe gods not helping me bcsuse im not a good enough muslim. Maybe gods angry at me or my sins are too much who knows.

I will try tahujjud its my last hope

Never think God is angry with you. And if God is delaying something it is possible he wants you to come closer. Those people who seem to have everything in their life or the kuffar whose life are going smoothly, it is a form a punishment for them. This delay is a test. Allah says he will try each Muslim with a trial of loss, fear, and pain.
But do not lose hope try seeking through family I suppose. If not maybe widen your search? Try other towns or other mosques? Ask the iman, tell him your type of brother you wish to marry.
May Allah make it easy for you and grant you a good man who treats you as you well.

NEVER though date. It is the most horrific thing where peoples lives get ruined. Just do everything in the halal way that way you can save yourself pain and from heartbreak.
