Do you like this theme?

To put it in simple terms. I HATE CHANGES!!!!!!


I am a creature of habit. I like things to be in the same place every time I use them. I do not even like furniture being moved. I want the old and familiar back.



But, in spite of my wants and desires, the world does not revolve around me, life does not always hand out what I want. So it is in the world of the internet and forums. A forum gets set up and running, people get accustomed to the platform it operates on, but outside changes take place-- new browsers are developed, operating systems are improved, computers become more advanced, viewing tools such as flash, etc develop, as a result the old familiar platforms no longer operate properly, bugs develop, the platform becomes subject to viruses and hacks. Life advances in spite of my wishes and leaves me with only two choices, grow with it or throw the computer out the window. Since I do not want to clutter the yard up with dead computers, I guess I will simply force myself to accept the needed changes.

It's sort of like a fact of technology that the more advanced it gets, the more controls it'll have. Take a remote for an example. I don't have a TV personally, but I do remember when I had one, the TV remotes just started having more and more buttons.

Same with video games.

Make the addition of tags - a mandatory practise for a thread... which would help the advance search operations.
 
Btw, I've been surfing the net on other vB forums. Guess what? It's not just IslamicBoard! There's other forums not liking the upgrade either, like on Ummah Forum I noticed there were some complaints, as well as on other sites I frequent.

Does that consolidate you guys any bit? :X
 
Can you make enlighten as a default theme until we get some better ones...:? That should consolidate us....;D everytime the cookies are cleared the theme reverts back and the user is signed out unless the remember me option is checked...
