Futooh-ush-Shaam is a very great Kitaab authored by Imaam al-Waaqidi رحمة الله عليه. It details the stories of how Sahaabah-e-Kiraam conquered the land of Shaam for the sake of Allaah Ta`aalaa and defeated the Roman Empire.
Many of the senior `Ulamaa like Hadhrat Thanvi, Maulana Maseehullah Khan (Hadhratji), Maulana Ilyaas, etc. would stress the importance of reading this Kitaab. There are numerous benefits to be attained from reading it.
