As-Salaam alaikum,
Allah Ta'ala was a Hidden Treasure and He loved to be known/recognized, as the famous Hadith-Qudsi tells us. In 'Fihi-ma-Fihi', Imam Jalaluddin Rumi explained this to the effect that it is as if Allah was saying : "I created the whole universe, and the goal of all of it is to make Myself manifest, sometimes through gentleness (lutf) and sometimes through severity (qahr). ''

This pair of Divine Attributes (lutf and qahr) reveberates throughout the universe, but you will note that gentleness always has the upper hand over severity, because as the sound hadith has it, "Allah's Mercy takes Precedence over His Wrath".

But just as light cannot be perceived without darkness, and just as presence cannot be grasped without absence, so also mercy demands wrath, gentleness uses severity for its own purposes, and roses surround their beauty with thorns.

The interplay of gentleness and severity appears in the contrasting qualities of light and fire, angels and devils, Intellect and ego, Adam and Iblis, Saints and unbelievers, joy and heartache spring and autumn, intoxication and sobriety. Only love can harmonize all opposites and complementary qualities and make them one.... the literal sense of Tawheed. A basic implication of Tawheed, as we know in Islam, is that everything comes from One and returns to the One.

All activity and rest, strife and war, peace and harmony, are forms of displaying the Hidden Treasure. This implies that Allah Ta'ala is the source of all we see. Given the precedence of mercy over wrath, however, all that appears as evil is in fact serving greater good that is beyond most people's Ken. Evil cannot be eliminated from the universe, because that would dislocated the created realm. This, in a way, is why Allah appointed 2 Sheriffs to keep the world in order - - Remembering of Him (Zikr) and heedlessnes (Ghaflat).

You will not know evil until you know good, there can be no right path without wrong paths, no pleasure within pain, no mercy without wrath.

In understanding and noting all these, we must endevour to always work towards seeking Allah's Pleasure and gentleness.

God is the Most Great, God is the Most Great, I testify and bear witness that there is no god but God, I testify and bear witness that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the Prophet of God and that the Glorious Quran is from God, none are worthy of worship except God, all praise and glor!y belongs to God in all the heavens and in the earth, Gof is Omnipotent over all things and everything submits to God and praise Him (except the losers), God is the King and Protector and Lord and Light and Ruler and Creator of the heavens and the earth and everything in them!
-------

Doing evil gives punishment (in this life only or in the hereafter only or in both, you knowing it or not), disbelieving in God (the worst sin) gives punishment, doing good and right gives reward, believing in God gives reward and is in of itself the greatest reward.

The Muslims (God-submitted) and following Islam (submission to God, the Eternal True Elected Religion of God, bowing your head down and prostrating yourself with your forehead to the ground) are the best humans in God's eyes, Muslims follow God's Will and Command aka bowing your head down in God's Presence and in God's Watchful eyes.

Disbelief however, God has made it unallowed, God doesn't tolerate or accept for any which thing to disbelieve in Him, and God will punish him for disbelieving in Him, God doesn't like non-believers, they are the worst of animals and even more (Quran), even animals (birds for example) submit to God.

To God is our certain return!
