رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ " . Great Rewards for those Who Observe Fasts.
Mohammad Rafique Etesame
Every (good) deed of the son of Adam would be multiplied, a good deed receiving a tenfold to seven hundredfold reward. Allah, the Exalted and Majestic, has said: With the exception of fasting, for it is done for Me and I will give a reward for it, for one abandons his passion and food for My sake. There are two occasions of joy for one who fasts, joy when he breaks it, and joy when he meets his Lord, and the breath (of an observer of fast) is sweeter to Allah than the fragrance of musk.
This hadith reveals many rewards for one who observes fast. He receives the reward of one good actions a tenfold to seven hundredfold. And there are another two good rewards for him, first when he breaks his fast at evening and he is hungry and Thirsty and eats various types of foods and drinks, then he feels joy; and secondly, when he will be made enter the Paradise, then he will meet his Lord and will see Him. And this is proved by the holy Qur’an and the sayings of the holy Prophet PBUH. The holy Quran reveals,”Some faces will on that Day be bright with happiness looking up to their Sustainer;” (Al-Qiyamah 75:23) As regards the hadith, so,” Narrated Jarir: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) came out to us on the night of the full moon and said, "You will see your Lord on the Day of Resurrection as you see this (full moon) and you will have no difficulty in seeing Him"( Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith 63). May Allah Almighty give us ‘taufeeq’ for observing fasts sincerely and may award these great favors, Amin.
