Is Azrael and Grim Reaper the same thing?the one who takes the soul from humans and delivers them to Allah when they die or something like that?

Grim Reaper is a weird invented English thing :-\ Maalikal Maut (Angel of Death) is real.

Havn't really heard of Grim Reaper to be honest :D

Hazrat Anas Ibn Malik radiyallahu anhu has reported that Rasoolullah sallallahu alaihe wasallam had mentioned that the grasp of Malikul Maut is more severe than one thousand hacks (cuts) with a sword.(Sharhus-sudoor)
 
Well yeah
its just that Grim reaper is an english invented word just like 'Muj4h1d4' said.
