Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar (ra): We counted that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) would say a hundred times during a meeting: "My Lord, forgive me and pardon me; Thou art the Pardoning and forgiving One".

‘Uthman b. Abl al-As (RA) said that he came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). ‘Uthman said: I had a pain which was about to destroy me. So the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Wipe it with your right hand seven times and say:

أَعُوذُ بِعِزَّةِ اللَّهِ وَقُدْرَتِهِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا أَجِدُ

“I seek refuge in the dominance of Allah, and His might from the evil of what I find.”

Then I did it. Allah removed (the pain) that I had, and I kept on suggesting it to my family and to others.

(Sunan Abi Dawud 3891, Book 29, Hadith 37)

Harithah bin Wahb Al-Khuzai (RA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Should I not inform you about the people of Paradise: They are every humble and weak person, who if he were to make an oath by Allah, He would fulfill it. Should I not inform you about the people of the Fire: They are every prideful, swaggering, ill-speaking person."

(Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2605, Book 39, Hadith 33)

Ibn Umar (RA) narrated that the Prophet (SAW) said: "Whoever misses the Asr prayer, then it is as if he was robbed of his family and his property."

(Jami` at-Tirmidhi 175, Book 2, Hadith 27)

Abdullah ibn 'Abbas said, "When the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, prayed the night prayer, and finished his prayer, glorifying Allah as he deserves, he said at the end of it, 'O Allah, give me a light in my heart and give me a light in my hearing and give me a light in my sight. Give me a light on my right and a light on my left and give me a light in front of me and a light behind me and increase me in light. Increase me in light, and increase me in light.'"

(Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 696, Book 31, Hadith 93)
