Have I comitted shirk?

I have severe waswas and I have horrible shirk thoughts, And I was watching this video and the editing was good and i had a thought "These editing skills are godly" I dont believe this at all and i immediately repented, i am not sure if this was waswas or me but I do not believe this person is godly at all and i didnt mean the thought.

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,

Firstly - you feel you've done wrong? No problem!

What has Allah azza wajal said about this in the Quran?

Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful." (Surah Az-Zumar Verse 53)

So what do we learn from this ayat from the Quran? No matter what we've done.....Don't Despair. Don't loose hope, nor be sad!

Secondly - In relation to Duas for seeking forgiveness and protection from Shirk highly recommend the following:

Pronunciation: Allahumma inni a’oo-zu bika an oosh-rika bika wa ana a’lamu, wa astagh firuka lima laa a’lam

Meaning: O Allah, I seek refuge with You from knowingly associating anything with You, and I seek Your forgiveness for that which I do unknowingly

Assaalamu alaykum,

I hope so ,. because shirk means Questioning the Oneness of God or associating others with Him. So for that video you could say mashallah or that how Allah created the the talented creature .but saying godly ......I think so it is bad but you should repent or seek forgiveness if it was a shirk it will also be best or not as well .
Brother Duas_Revival already told you a dua you should read it .it will not harm you if you didn't commit shirk it is just a dua .but I think saying someone a godly can be a shirk in my opinion.

Maybe it was just simply a case of using the wrong term? If there was no ill intention behind the wording, if it wasn't sincere and it was not intentional , no harm done? Of course, better be safe and ask for forgiveness and not do it again. Learning by the mistakes we do. Allah knows best.
