The video here is going to highlight the negative effects of eating whilst watching TV, something which is all too common nowadays. All this is linked with our deen for multiple reason one of which is that our bodies are an amaanah, so we should treat it as such.
**WARNING** Woman without a hijab in the video
https://youtu.be/vez5Q2SFA-4
I also remember our biology teacher telling our class how it was so bad because it activates two opposite parts of the nervous system and makes them work against eachother even though they are not supposed too. It was the sympathetic and parasympathetic if I remember correctly Idk someone can correct me on that.

"O children of Adam! Wear your beautiful apparel at every time and place of prayer;*eat and drink, but waste not by excess. For Allah loves not the wasters.”
“Nothing is worse than a person who fills his stomach. It should be enough for the son of Adam to have a few bites to satisfy his hunger. If he wishes more, it should be:*One-third for his food, one-third for his liquids, and one-third for his breath.”
