Guide me down a Path that's True,

I fear great loss - it's turned me blue;
I fear a Day on which I'll rue,

Me myself and I, ya Rabb, is who I fear for most.
Make me not from those of whom have given up the ghost...

Before, that is, such time has passed where I have made tawbah,
cleaned out my heart, and turned about, fi sa bilillah.
