The Apostles, Prophets and saints are people who are loved by Allah Taala. They are the chosen ones whom Allah loves and whom Allah gives attention to. But why does God impose so much trials and tribulations upon them? Why are they put into difficulties? Why are they poor? Whereas leaders and dignitaries who are infidels (kafir), hypocrites (munafiq) and unbecoming (fasiq) are given comfort, are given luxury and are given wealth. Why? There are several covert reasons for this. Among them:

i. So that they will always maintain a strong feeling of subservience towards God. They will only rely and put their hopes upon God. God is their only savior. These are the characteristics of a servant that Allah Taala prefers. Upon these feelings lie His acceptance and love. With that Allah Taala awards them high status and rank in paradise which is eternal.

ii. Allah Taala wants to tell and to teach mankind that worldly materials and luxuries are worthless compared to the materials and luxuries of the Hereafter. Hence, what is the point of giving worthless things to those whom He loves as these thing are not easy to manage.

This world and its pleasure is just like a filth besides God. If it has any value, God won't give it to non believer at all. But due to its reality, it is priceless, God doesn't mind to give to them more than to the pious one.
As if Allah said" Why should I give filth to my beloved?" so the prophet, messegers of God, they understand the meaning and wisdom behind it. They are at peace and waiting for the real pleasure in the hereafter.
