Assalam Alaikum Brothers and Sisters,

I have to take a class where I learn about the body of both male and female, about birth and about nutrition in general. I have the choice of opting out. Should I opt out or take the class because I still have to learn it someday? Thank you!

When it is part of education it is fine,otherwise we would have no Muslim(or any religion) doctors or nurses in the world. It is like CPR. If you have someone on the ground, man or woman, you cannot just say "whoops that's haram" and walk away. that's called manslaughter...common sense...
