Hijab help

Salam,

I have been wearing the hijab for almost a year now. I felt so proud of wearing it, however, recently I really ahte wearing the hijab. Ma sha Allah, I have beautiful long straight hair and I hate having to cover it all up. Also, with the hijab im starting to feel that i dont look good with it on i really hate this feeling. Also, my parents had some guests over at our house and none of the women were in hijaba nd they all dyed their hair beautiful colours and made really nice hairstyles and I was the only one in a hijab. In addition, I hate having to send pics in Hijab to guys who are proposing for marrriage, I feel that I look 10000000x better in my non-hijabi pics, also my mom was kinda forcing me to send non-hijabi pics as she felt that I looked more beautiful in them Im feeling really insecure with my hijab. Please help and guide me.

First of all sis, :ma: that you are wearing hijab. Do you know how much you please Allah SWT!!? If you go against the desire to show off your beauty, do you know how much more you please Allah SWT by doing that?!!


Lets say on Day of Judgement, you are amongst the highest ranks of people and one of the reason was that you used to wear hijab?! Thats a great accomplishment. Wouldn't you want to be considered pure? And can you be completely pure if men and even women can see what should be hidden (your beauty)? Imagine being near the people of highest ranks. Did you also know that Allah SWT gives you something better if you have sabr and fight against your desire? It may not be in this world, but possibly in the next. Imagine that you didnt show your beauty in this world, and Allah SWT decides to give you special things which could be anything in the hereafter?


If you imagine this, it will help you fight the desires. So sis, be patient, pray to Allah SWT to help you remain on the steadfast path and to not make you miss all the rewards that you can get. :ia:


After all its temporary. Showing your hair may please some strangers in this world, but who made these strangers so important as to be worth pleasing?
