Please Help!
First of all, thank you for your time.
As my profile demonstrates, I am a Christian. I'm not here to preach. I am not here to attempt to convince anyone of anything on any religion whatsoever. I am here to learn and understand a few things about Islam and how it relates to a few specific questions if you will. So, I won't engage in any arguments or debates with anyone over religion.
I have four specific questions about four specific subjects for which I seek answers. I humbly ask for your help in finding these answers.
In Christianity, there are specific scriptures in the Bible that address these things. I'm interested in what the Quran (Please correct me if the spelling is incorrect as I've seen it spelled different ways on the internet) has to say about it, and what specific texts in the Quran address it. Please understand, I am asking out of total ignorance of Islam.
Please answer in English as my understanding of Arabic doesn't exist. I won't understand it if you answer in any language other than English. Sorry!
I greatly appreciate your time and consideration. Thank you so much, and may peace be with you.
The forth and last of these questions is this: "Holding a grudge", "Holding resentment toward others", "Bitterness in our heart toward others", and "Inability to forgive others". What does the Quran have to say in texts about the roots of our bitterness toward other people and what we are supposed to do with that bitterness?
