Honesty

Just want to be a more honest person. I know in my heart I am a good person but for some reason I lie sometimes, it just seems easier. I really don’t need to do that. Lying/stealing/cheating... all dishonest characteristics that I absolutely despise. How do I get rid of them all for good. I pray to Allah but I need to take actions myself

ask Allah to change you into a person he is pleased with. You have to make the initial step. Tell the truth even if it inconvenients you. Inshallah you will be able to change. Allah make it easy for you
