When I went to school, it was comphulsory that from year 3 in primary school, we had to write with a pen, i.e a fountain pen that you fill with ink from an ink well. Honestly, if you write horribly, you will suffer so much with a fountain pen, we had to make sure we wrote without blotting the book or pludging ink on our things, the number of days I went home with ink stained hands then innumerable, but the number of times I write and people comment on my good writing.....worth it. The down side of course is I find it hard writing with any other pen in the same way but these days i find ease using a rollerball pen which is lightweight.

@ Abdullahi,

You have not seen some peoples writing, I can actually read yours and the annotations and shorthand, I assume they mean something to you which is round about right, or was that your exam answer sheet in which case you need redemption Lol!!!

I still got the childish scrawl i have been stuck with since kindergarten :hmm:

:sl:

My hand writing as a kid was pretty good because our teachers used to hit our knuckles with sticks if we mess it up.:phew But after moving to U.S., all those skills went away, it got really bad lol(American public schools suck in all categories) :hiding:

Perfect practice makes perfect ;D

My handwriting is messy. I've been trying to improve it all my life, but it's never really been that important. Right now, I'm trying to teach myself how to write coherently with my left hand (I'm right handed).
