After saying :sl: how do u greet people in ur own languages?

I say kewoo che. lol:okay:

salaam,

lol ^^^ yeah...me sylhety so we normally say balah aso ne?? :)

wassalam

After aslam alikum, I say:

ki haal ae? (punjabi)
Theek ho? (Punjabi/urdu)
Kaise hain aap? (urdu)
kae haal ee? (mirpuri)

all mean-how are you?

I say "yo wazzup bro check it out man c-h-e-ck i-t o-u-t-t-t-t-t-t"

NOt

I just reply walikum salam
or
walikum salam wr wb

Salaam.

What on earth is 'kewoo che'? It's 'kem chay'. Or sometimes 'Kem cho'.

We should always use Walikum Salam as a reply or better

Using our own native translations cannot substitute it.

after all its a simple 2 words - just say the right thing

Like in Pakistan people say "Allah Hafiz" or "Fi Aman Allah" instead of Walikum Salam.

And its really annoying because it is not the same as Walikum Salam or Salam Alaikum!

Salaam.

Doesn't the word 'kewoo' when used refer to a 'thing'? It's very impolite.

salaam
yeah but when im talkin with my friends it's kind of ok to say.... obviously not somone far older like many on this forum including u.

oohhh oki doki

well i still just greet them with salam

I mean its a greeting on its own so why use additional ones?

Its like "Hello, Bonjour, Salam, Hei"

Bangladesh is influenced by both English and Arabic

in personal, we greet by saying "assalaamu alaikum"

over phone, we greet by saying "hello" or "hello, assalaamu alaikum"

:sl:

depends-if its a gujirati im talking to women generally say *alright* in this gujirati accent. so i say alrightttttttttttttttt.

otherwise its either how are you <----- english speaking friends family

or how you or yo yo yo<----- other family

I don't talk much :D (seriously)

well....when I get back from school and after the Muslim way of greeting I usually do my own work....i.e. take a shower....get changed....use PC....eat something (if I'm hungry).....do my homework (sometimes help my Mom with housework)....etc.etc.

:sl:
we say the simple salaam here..but most ppl eat half of it...its spoken in soo many different dialects..like salan laikam and slan laikuuum..and its wrong..after that its kiaa haal hai?? (urdu: means how r u?) or aai ho!!
wassalam
