You know... I just checked the same a few minutes ago and was equally surprised. And I think majority of them are new members. At some point today there were about 70% new members and 30% members + staff.
It was like black bees buzzing. Hmmh.
 
Yeah, there was quite a lot of people online a couple of hours ago mashaAllah, 100+ if I remember correctly.
 
must be because of those Mass pm that everyone received recently.

It's over 600!!

^Yes there is. I always have a good laugh when I see a new member PMing. I can't help it.

glo, I think they either view their PM which sets their activity to "Private Messaging". Or they type out the whole PM, only to find out that they can't send it because they're limited members. It's funnier if it's the latter. Haha~

I had an advertisement pm earlier. I simply zapped it (I didn't have any need for halal skin products ...)
Is this doing to be a one off, or a new regular occurrence?
 
I got that too. Yeah or they could PM staff I think...
 
^ most of them are new members,maybe spammers(or most of them at least) because what kind of username on an Islamic forum is MSN.
