Asalamu Alikum Wr Wb!

Dear brothers and sisters,
Will you please help me with this? I want to learn Arabic but it’s like quite difficult and I find the whole learning process tiresome. But still I so much desire to have a good grasp over this language of miraculous Quran, and the language of Rasool Allah (s.a.w). :statisfie Those of you who know Arabic are really lucky lots, as you can at least do understand the verses of the Quran. This is not the case with me. I can only recite the verses but don’t know the meaning of even one word I’m reciting. So there was like this great scholar who highlighted the importance of learning Arabic for good understanding of the Quran.

So from that moment onwards, I set a goal for me to learn Arabic no matter how hard it gets.

So do you people know of any short courses, or anything which might be helpful in this regard? ... Any beginner’s course, which is easy enough that even a primary level kid can understand?”…:hiding:

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Jazakamullahu Khair! May Allah bless you all!

Manshallah its good that you want to learn arabic the key thing is 'motivation'.

If u really want to learn arabic the best thing to do is to live in a arab speaking country such as egypt or syria. Its hard to do this as it is unusual to move to a country just to learn the language atleast go on holidays to those countries it will help you a lot.

Right now just look for arabic lesson in your area the internet is good but i think going to classes is much more better.

also look for arabic speakers so that u can befriend them and interact with them that will help.

MashaAllaah, i really would love to learn Arabic. .
As i only know very little, but yeah would be awesome to know the language itself and i agree , motivation is defo needed!

So yeah

^^ Hmmm...so are there any online courses or that sort? It would really help! And Jazakamullahu Kahir for the replies! :D

Plus sis "muslimah 4 lyf",

you can find online courses easily.

In general, it's not hard to learn arabic (like every language) : there should be some easy steps to do by yourself :
1) you know the arabic letters and how to pronounce them. If you know this, then it's a first great step.
2) you know how to pronounce arabic words (even if you don't understand them) : that's a great job.
3) you try to learn the meaning of a list of arabic basic words : try to get this type of booklets, kind of : "learn a language in 7 days" or something like that. So you will memorise some useful words to help you in your reading.
4) learn some basic arabic grammar (nahw) : verb, noun, phrase construction, etc.
5) start reading some little texts or short stories : 1 page per day. And use a dictionary to explain the difficult words (use a notebook to note the new words).

may Allah help you and make it easy for you.

I think this website is useful:

And mum has banned my any such Arabic courses! She says that if I'll insist on joining any Arabic classes, she gonna teach me a real unforgettable lesson...:scared: (didn't do that well in my exams, you see! :( )

But please sis, do pray for me. K?
