If a person reads just 2 pages of Qur'an a day, he will finish it in 300 days (less than a year).

You can further break this down to, 1 page in the morning and 1 page in the evening, so you start & finish your day with the Book of Allah.

The Prophet (PBUH) said: "Whoever recites a letter from Allah's Book, he receives ten rewards".

And he (PBUH) also said: "The most loved deeds to Allah are those that are most regular and constant even though they may be few."

For beginners who struggle to read Arabic, it will take about 5-10 minutes per page. And they will receive double the reward.

The Prophet (PBUH) said: "He who recites the Qur'an and finds it difficult to recite, doing his best to recite it in the best way possible, will have a double reward."

Those who are good at reciting will reach a special status.

"The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "The one who is proficient in the recitation of the Qur'an will be with the honourable and obedient scribes (angels)"

And he (PBUH) said: "The example of a believer who recites the Qur'an and acts on it, is like a citron which tastes nice and smells nice."

We ask Allah for the doing of good deeds that bring us closer to His Love, and for the avoiding of the evil deeds.

May Allah not make us from those who the Messenger (SAW) will complain about on the Day of Judgement:

"O my Lord, indeed my people have taken this Qur'an as [a thing] abandoned." (25:30)

The more you read, the easier it is to read it. Last year I finished the Qur'an twice in Ramadan. It is such a blessed month!

Memorizing some parts also helps quicken the speed.

Mashallah thank you for the information i found it very helpful :)
