Can anyone out there give me authentic information from hadith and Qur'an on how to deal with hypocrites and liars whether they claim to be either a Muslim or a non-muslim.

My advice ignore them or let them know their being hyprocrite :grumbling

This is troublesome for me and the reason is this. When you point a finger at someone and call them a hypocrite, look at your hand. You will notice one finger pointing away from you and three fingers pointing straight back at yourself.
In life I have found it is so easy to preach what should be done, but I have found it extremely difficult to follow my own advice at times. I feel we should strive to change ourselves more than we should strive to change others.
In the spirit of praying for peace in our hearts
