I am ready to die as a Mu’’min
Its choking me, this horrible numbin
The darkness that holds me captive
It’s so deep and Cursive
Oh Allah unchain me
Set me free Carry me
To the path of those u Love
I know I gotta, Prove
You 2 change my ways
Numbered are my days
Don’t want to die empty
Handed, with no Sanity
Dnt shun me from ur Mercy
My lord, purify me
I’m on my knees, I plea
Don’t leave me out of sight
My struggle doesn’t end, my plight
To die as a Mu’min never stops
Nothing on earth tops
To be a Muslim to know
The beautiful glanze, the glow
That comes from Sallah
When I worship you oh Allah
Tranquility Overwhelms, So complete
For the glitters of this world I don’t want to compete
Instead I choose to die in your path
In your Mercy I seek refuge from your Wrath
My Lord I am weak I keep falling
There is no one else to keep blaming
Except myself, U showed me right
From wrong n gave me intelligence & Sight
I know again I will trip over
But there is something in me, a Warrior
Reminding me, pushing me upwards
Lifting me, carrying me towards
The Straight path, the Path of the Believers
Part of those who are the Carriers
Of the banner of Islam to the next
Generation not only shouting it in context
But also living it from our hearts
Before my sinful soul departs
Into the hereafter where the real living starts. ​

I wrote it this morning after fajr.
