Hi everyone

My name is Kat Smith, I'm 20 from Ontario, Canada.

I'm not of Islamic faith, or of any faith in particular. I'm here because I felt compelled to tell you that I condemn the demonization of Islam. I'm just a regular person that knows how unfairly represented you are in the mainstream media. Of all muslims I've ever met, they've all been sweet and caring. This is the image of Islam that I have which will never change. And I share this view with everyone I meet who thinks otherwise, or have been mislead by the media.

Hi and welcome to the forum, you are very smart and open minded for not falling for what the media tries to feed people, it seems that its easier for people to stereotype then to try and understand everyone and this is why we have a world of prejudiced beliefs upon one another.
