I just started to read Quran and I have some questions. I'm reading

I have problems understanding
1.

In fact, as for those who reject Faith; it is the same, whether you warn them or you
don't, they will not believe.[6] Allah has sealed their hearts and their hearing, their
eyes are covered, and there is a grievous punishment for them. [7] 2:[6-7]

How it is meant "Allah has sealed their hearts and their hearing"

When they meet the believers (Muslims) they
say: "We too are believers," but when they (people of the Book) meet each other in
private, they say: "Would you disclose to the believers (Muslims) what Allah has
revealed to you? So that they (Muslims) may use it as an argument against you in
the court of your Lord? Have you no sense?"[76] Do they not really know that Allah
knows what they conceal and what they reveal?

Satans who were unbelievers; they taught witchcraft to the
people and that which was revealed to the two angels, Harut and Marut in the city of
Babylon. Yet, these two angels never taught magic to anyone without saying: "We
have been sent to tempt you; do not renounce your faith." In spite of this warning,
those people kept on learning from the angels, the magic of which could cause
discord between husband and wife; although they could harm none with it except
with Allah’s permission. They learned, indeed, what harmed them and did not profit
them; even though they knew fully well that the buyers of magic would have no share
in the happiness of the Hereafter. Surely, they sold their souls for a bad price, if they
could understand it!2:[102]

Why Allah allowed it to happen?

Many among the people of the Book (Jews and Christians) wish they could somehow
turn you back to unbelief, due to their selfish envy, after the truth has become quite
clear to them. Forgive them and bear with them until Allah brings about His decision;
rest assured that Allah has power over everything.[109] 2:[109]

Why would anyone because of envy wish turn anyone back to unbelief if they now truth? It would only do harm to themselves wouldn't it?

Answer: Allah has sealed their hearts and hearing and covered their eyes from accepting Hidayah (guidance) from Allah, because the Hidayah of Allahu Ta'ala is so great that every people could not hindered themselves from it. They who have Iman, then Allah will not sealed their heart. Because the goodness is found in the heart. because THEY DON'T WANT to have any Iman then Allahu Ta'ala will not accept their good deeds, and if they have iman, Allah will open their hearts to do good deeds that are acceptable by Allahu Ta'a'a as well as by human beings.

Allahu Ta'ala gave us news that the Jews, became very secretive and think that only them could escape from the Hellfire eventhough they don't have any IMAN to Rasulullah. So they told to the fellow Jews, not to disclose the secret about Taurat, which contains in it the characteristics of Rasulullah and his companions. Because they thought that Allahu Ta'ala will not inform to Rasulullah about their hypocrisy. And so the Jews were very sure that by saying that they have faith at morning and Kafir at the afternoon, they could trick Allahu Ta'ala and His Rasul.
They are cheated by what they made exist, while it will lead them to the Hellfire.

Why Allah allowed it to happen?

Allahu Ta'ala has Hikmah in everything. Hikmah is everything which could lead to worshipping Allahu Ta'ala in the correct way.
Allahu Ta'ala was giving these miracles which were positive and uniting mankind. Instead Syaithan used the Sorcery as miracle that were destructing and separating mankind.
Allahu Ta'ala created badness, but badness doesn't return to Him. Allahu Ta'ala created Jannah (Heaven) because He creates good deeds and love it. And He also created Naar (The Hellfire) because He creates badness and hates it, and when He creates badness, He always put it in the right place, as the badness is created with Hikmah and in justice.
Allahu Ta'ala creates badness because He wants to use the good deeds as the medicine for it, the proof is that every badness has a medicine to cure it.

Because they are people who want the pleasure of Muslim to be taken away from them, but at the same time they do not want to become Muslim.
They do not like Din. That's why Allahu Ta'ala stated their condition.

the verse is similar to the verse:


45:23 Then seest thou such a one as takes as his god his own vain desire? Allah has, knowing (him as such), left him astray, and sealed his hearing and his heart and put a cover on his sight.


both mention the first kind of punishment God punishes those who get his message and continue with their disbelieve

it is the punishment of sealing the senses of such disbeliever ..

in other words God says regarding such disbeliever:

though you had got the message of true faith and the warning of God's punishment,you continue your disbelieve.....

well, I will seal your senses with regard to the message ...

and you will be like a container of disbelieve that is sealed tightly , no way for faith to go in and no way for disbelieve to go out...


the next punishment is

(there is a grievous punishment for them)

which may be during their life, and certainly in the day of judgment..

3. Why Allah allowed it to happen?

The most widely accepted interpretation of this verse is that Harut and Marut did not deceive the people. It is true that they taught the people occult sciences, but they did warn their students about the temptation that comes with such knowledge. They told their apprentices we are only a temptation, therefore disbelieve not (in the Guidance of God)", that the practice of sorcery amounts to disbelief in God, and that they should therefore not learn sorcery and Magic. So when someone came forth of his own choice and decided not to heed the warning, it meant that he willingly chose disbelief. Later their teachings were used by subsequent generations of humans to practice black magic and sorcery. An analogy is that of a teacher teaching his student a common mistake made by other students in hopes that he will not fall in a similar error. Moreover, this verse vindicates the character of Solomon, a prophet just like all other prophets, all were held in high regard by Muslims.

they both used to drink alcohol and get drunk,once Mike converted to Islam and stooped drinking, Jack though knew how good the the new life that Mike lead, couldn't imitiate him ,he felt envy and wished the old Mike turns back to alcohol life....
