I need a buddy like me

Salamulaykum I'm new to this forum in fact first forum I've been on.
I am struggling porn addiction and mastupation addiction.
After watching a video by Shaikh Omar baloch which emphasized the need for a buddy who understands. Preferably someone who has been through this addiction or is going through it at this time.
I'm 22 years old and I've been stuck for so long.
My brothers is a plea I need someone who can watch my back.
If anyone can help that would be great

I actually don't think it's a good idea to have someone who has addictive problems to help you with your addictive problem.
You can do it on your own inshallah, you have to take it day by day and really put the effort until you have complete control of yourself again.
Secondly addictions arise when we are trying to avoid something..i think you need to reflect and try to address the deep issues you have.
Finally, don't expect that this will be easy but inshallah with Allah's help it will become easier overtime. You just have to keep working on it without giving up.

No no.A buddy is not a good idea.That means sharing the sin,and its worst.If you do it,then do it and repent and let it be between you and Allah.In shaa Allah , Allah will cover it and forgive you from it.

My advise if that you never stop making tawbah and trying to quit it,even if you do it everyday,keep making tawbah everyday.From all the sins i have felt the side effects of in all these years as muslim,masturbation overpasses them all.It is total filth,it puts a nuclear bomb on your health and eman,it destroys everything,your physical and mental health.

Another advise is if you cant stop both at least masturbate without porn.Eleminate porn first.Its very very hard to stop both at the same time.
