I Walk Alone...





I stand among you
Packed like arrows in a quiver we stand
My body blooded but scented
I walk when none of you will walk

For I am Shaheed for the sake of Allah

Further and further I go
The look on your faces as you despair
How you ask each other for good deeds
But I need not worry

For I am Shaheed for the sake of Allah

Past you I push
This day I stand tall
My weapon on my shoulder
It was my ticket to bliss

For I am Shaheed for the sake of Allah

They threw the dunya at me but I threw it back
I left my home vowing to see my loved ones on this day.
On this day I seek payment for the best of deals.

For I am Shaheed for the sake of Allah

Oh Prophets of Allah
True to all the Muslims
My life I would have given had I been with you
But this day i have my own calling

For I am Shaheed for the sake of Allah

There it is…
There it is…
There it is…

8 angels carry it
Their beauty beyond speech
But even they are pale next to it
I have spent an eternity flying around you in the hearts of green birds
But here you are and only the eyes of the pure deserve to see you.
The Throne of His Majesty
Beyond compare, beyond equal, beyond what the mind can comprehend
There is a place for me under it

For I am Shaheed for the sake of Allah

Here I shall sit
My wounds are my dowry to my palace
My place was written
My place is here
Under the Throne of Allah The Most High The Most True
Here I shall sit
In the shade when there is no other shade
Watching you wish you had given a sacrifice
Watching you wish you had lived to die for something
I am not like you...

For I am Shaheed for the sake of Allah

Correction to original post thanks to my sister who correctly pointed out that 8 Angles carry the Throne of Allah(swt).

May Allah bless her with good and make her from those He(swt) loves.
