If music is haram (?)

Feel free to ask questions about anything. Sometimes there is this waswas and they make you have evil thaughts about Allah. InshAllah, you beat them.

Again, they lecture us stuff like that so we know between the right and wrong.

Thank you very much, sister! :) insa'Allah, I'll be an American scholar. :) At least Allah gave me this chance by guided me to Islam. :)

I never listened/listen those songs from the American gilrs, not even from other singers, for example Shakira, Beyonce etc... I don't really like that kind of music. I like rap, rock and some techno... But about lyrics, I never listen to where is swear or anything like that. It must be clear about lyrics otherwise I don't listen to it.
