Or from praying late or something if you get that awful feeling in the pit of your stomach and your entire day is ruined and you just feel like you hate yourself, does that mean that there is hope for you yet and that you are not a total and complete sinner, And will your taubah be more likely accepted? I'm just curious....:hmm:

It's a good sign that atleast you have a conscience, however it's what you do with it that matters. Many people get the guilt etc but then they just continue sinning until a time comes when they don't feel any remorse over it.

The idea is to use it to your benefit, rectify yourself before it's too late.

We as human have to resist our temptations in almost every level. Remaining consistent throughout our lives is probably one of the most difficult things to achieve, let alone to elevate our taqwa over time.

Having remorse is a good place to start. Without remorse it is very much like saying the shahada without truly believing it. When you do believe it, you can benefit more from it by practicing (like feeling remorse and acting on it) as opposed to not following up on the tenets.
This is just my humble opinion.

At the end of the day, what you ask is Allah swt's domain. We are in no position to answer this, except we know that it is said we must be sincere in our dua.

Peace.
