Is wearing western clothes an imitation of the Kuffar? Because prominent Imams/speakers such as Nouman Ali Khan and Omar Suleiman wear suits. Can it depend on the intention? I’d like a more clearer interpretation of this please.

Yes Muslims that wear western clothing appear to be sycophants of the West. Non European politicians that dress in Western style suits are total stooges of the West such as leaders in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iraq are perfect examples of Western puppets. I suppose white Muslims can wear suits because they are Westerners. Of course there are Muslims that wear their native clothing that are sycophants to the West. They are obvious as they rant against Islamic tenets and are pro United Nation policies and mind sets. Aminadijad is a strange fish because he dresses like Borat and tirades against the West, especially the Zionist occupation. At the end of the day Western style suits only look good on North Europeans and look very strange on Asians and Africans etc. Conversely North Europeans look ridiculous wearing Asian and African etc style clothing.

No. Check the clothes that the prophet wore were diverse.

However Modernity and liberalism develop of mono culture which endorses a specific dress code (shirt, skirt, suit etc) is more of a problem of globalization and capitalist culture which doesn't just destroy non western culture but also western culture itself. You look how the cooperate world from The US and UK to India to Indonesia right into china and Japan - they all dress exactly the same as if there were made in a factory rather then being bought up in a unique culture with its own sense of place and history.

Islam celebrates different cultures and there traditions (as long as they are not Haram) its the reason why the Arab, Persians, Africans people form the sub Continent have there own cultures but are still Muslim.

Wearing cloths does not have nothing to do with religion. Your just wearing new style, that’s all. It’s cloths, it’s not big deal if you wear them. What is forbidden to immitate the disbelievers, is by celebrating what they do. You only have to celebrate “Minor Festival” and “Festival of Sacrifice”, other than these 2 are to be rejected. You may wear whatever you want, nobody said it’s haram to this.

I just wanted to be sure I properly understood what you mean. You are saying scholars should live with a different and higher requirements on how they dress?

Yes, because scholars are role model for their followers.

Moreover, it's a fact when a daee wants people to follow shariah, he himself will have to follow shariah then he can expect them following ten times less than him.

At least he must be more practicing than his followers.

No tight clothes, don't let your clothing drag below the ankles, cover the awra... avoid animate images and big branding logos. You can wear anything from your culture if it isn't Haram.

If the clothes are not specific to any group (ex goth) or any religion (sari) then it can be worn so long as proper islamic guidelines for hijab are followed.

Technically speaking all clothes ever belong to some kind of specific sub-group, secular, cultural or religious.

It is not permissible for a disbeliever to wear western clothes, but it is forbidden to wear western clothes be.cause of imitation with kaafir.

Bring evidences if you’re truthful. I get it, I’m in Europe, and I’m wearing shorts, jackets, adidas, jeans etc… if t is Winter while it is snowing and in the same time it is very cold, then what to wear? Hijab? I’ll definitely get iced outside for wearing hijab

What you want to wear is your personal matter though but we should not imitate kuffar

we don't care about 'technically' speaking, we see what is the current situation. There are clothes that are in general and everyone can wear and clothes that are specific to a particular group.
