I have been thinking seriously about converting to slam. However, I live in rural area in USA. I really want to convert and curious about how I can do with out mosque nearby

You should try to convert as soon as possible and don’t let this be a barrier. If you wish, you can reach out to the nearest Mosque by way of email/telephone as they will usually have a website. It is good to have some connection to a Mosque for ongoing support.
