If one forgets to make good intention but then he does good deed. What will happen to that deed?

Though Allah knows best,

Can you explain this little further with some example?

Assalam o Alaikum rahmatullahi wa baraktuhu.

Like, lets say that. a person who has knowledge about islam, wants to share some of his knowledge to his brothers / sisters, but he forget to make intention before doing that, and then he does share it to them, but he did not show off.

Or, there is a person who saw an animal whether it be cat, dog or birds, and it is thristy or hungry. or is suffering some diseases which needs vet. Therefore, he either feeds them or calls vet to take them, but he forget to make intention before doing that.

When these people, realize that they forget to make intentions, they made intentions, telling Allah secretly that they already done these acts. Will they get rewards or not?

Hope you understood. Allah knows best!

JazakAllah khair.

The idea is that anything we do should be to please Allah SWT. For example even sleeping is an act of worship if done with right intention. If a Muslims sleeps with the intention that he/she will get more energy to focus on ibadah and can get energy to work for feeding his/her family. Now does it mean that we have to say it verbally, no. Otherwise we will be uttering intention for everything we do. Intention is in the heart and as long as you are doing everything to please God, you will be rewarded inshallah. Scholars have recommended to renew the intention in the heart before doing obligatory acts of worships such as prayer and fasting in Ramadan. But for volunteer deeds, it is preferred to make intention before the act but the intention can be made before, during or after as long as that act was not done to please anyone other than Allah SWT. Keep good hope from Allah SWT and I am sure He will reward you way more than we can imagine.

Whatever has happened is the past, so going forward let's make an attempt to have an intention to do everything in our life just to please Allah SWT. Let's make a habit of reciting following dua after we do any good act.
رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا إِنَّكَ أَنتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
Our Lord! Accept (this service) from us: Indeed you are the All-Hearing, the All-knowing [2:127]

And Allah knows the best!

So, if a person makes intention, so he tells Allah, that he is going to do even small act, hoping for His forgiveness, mercy and Pleasure, will he get it by fulfilling that intention? Can he make that same intention on every acts he do? Like before going to masjid, he tells Allah secretly in his heart, that he is going to masjid for prayers, hoping for His forgivness, mercy and Pleasure?

Keep renewing the intention if you can as this helps to increase the imaan & Allah knows the best.

Assalam o alaikum rahamtullahi wa baratukhu.

Thank you lot. It seems that intention can bring really good rewards , in sha Allah. if it is of good quality, like seeking forgivness, mercy and pleasure of Allah. Masha Allah, Islam is really easy religion, though sadly, people made it difficult now. Nevertheless. Allah Is Most Merciful, Most Forgiving. and He is also Most Loving,

JazakAllah khair.
