My cousin recently got married after being strongly pressured by his parents. He married a girl in Pakistan but wanted to marry someone else from the UK. He told his parents about wanting to marry the girl from the UK, but his parents did not listen to him. He was worried about being beat and upsetting his parents and so he agreed to the marriage for their sake. He is unhappy and does not want to be in this marriage. Is the marriage valid for a man even if it was forced?

No it’s not valid. It will be always his choice on who he wants to marry. At the end of the day it’s he who has to spend his life with that person not the parents. Just like how you can’t force non believers to be Muslim, you can’t force someone to be with you.

Even if he has agreed to the Nikha? He is being told that because he agreed and signed the papers that it is valid as he is a man

It’s still invalid especially if both parties are not in mutual agreement. Allah will not accept it & what makes it worse is that they both will commit Zina because the marriage is not vaild

You should stop giving out verdicts like that.
