Is islam peaceful religion?

I want to know what the world think about Islam ? is it peaceful ? or violent ?

The fact that you posted that on a forum that has mostly Muslims on it - you do realise that no one is going to say its violent right ?

For getting answer you have to read articles about people´s opinions about Islam and Muslims, and also researces and result of the polls. Can you delimit your target like what people are thinking about Islam in your country or in the Western world or in some ethnic or religious group (like what Christians in the West think or what Hindus in India are thinking)?

You are blamed from the obvious fact that you demand rights when in minority and demand Shariah as soon as you get equal to kafir population . You do build mosques and preach your religion freely in kafir lands but you dont allow us to preach ours in yours own land .

If your DRUNKEN driver had made accidents with your best MBenz car will you ask the world is your car, a good car ? you will blame the driver and not the car. So Islam cannot be blamed for its some of its worst , misguided follower but should be weighed from its followers in the 1,2 ,3 rd generations and other Good Caliphs later like Salauhudeen Ayyubi (RA) the hero of Muslims during crusades. Kindly Read his history and see what is True Islam is all about. He even gave gave protection and Escort to his enemies as per the Order of the Glorious Quran.

No offense dude . The only reason you have been able to grow in those lands is secularism . The funny part is secularism is haram as per Shariah . This gives me topkek .

What is "my own land"? Why should what happens in a Muslim country I have no connection to whatsoever have any significance for what rights I should enjoy as a citizen who happens to adhere to the religion of Islam unlike the majority of my fellow citizens?
 
Well i cant take any credit for our growth, and to be fair in my own community the first and second generation of immigrants took the brunt of what society had to offer.

But putting that aside for a moment..

What you said in the second post is that given the oppertunity to do so..

You would be exactly the same in disposition.

What i would suggest to you is that the law.. and the application of law..

Are two different things.

Making things better is a huge undertaking.. even if it comes about by chance..

Todays people have a different test.. but the premise is the same..

If the things we say and the things we do have some disparity between them.

Then success is elsewhere.

..sharia law is just a pipedream at the moment..

Its still a weapon but as you demonstrate..

Its is simple Islam is Only Truth.

In my Opinion religion can't be given any specification specially Islam. when it roots down to the First Man and First Prophet Adam.
All the prophets came to preach Islam.
 
Indeed, Islam is the Religion of Peace and the Only Religion that is true and takes the person on the righteous path of Allah. Blindly follow it.

Which answers my question how exactly? I ask again: Why should my rights and freedoms as a Western Muslim depend on what happens in Islamic countries?

It gives epic impression that when you will become majority in foreign lands you had do the same . This is not a joke dude . This is ground reality about the perception majority people carry.

That still doesn't answer the question. Should I enjoy the freedom of religion that I allegedly would deny others if I had the ability to?

Also, your attempt to sneakily change the discussion from you asserting a particular thing, to it being a mere perception to whose truth value you now pretend to be neutral, is noted.
