Salam alaikum.
Is it a sin to go to work on Eid day after the Eid prayer if this is due to financial hardship. Is there any hadith on this?

Wa alaykum salam,

Eid is a day of celebration, so every effort must be made to celebrate it. However, there is nothing that is actually sinful about working on Eid day.

Asalaamu Alaikum, According to Sheikh Mufti Ebrahim Desai: In principle, it is not prohibited to work on the day of Eid. However, the
sacredness of the day of Eid should be displayed.

And Allah knows best in all matters
