Is it obligatory to perform Hijrah?

Asalaam Alaikom Rahmatullahi Wabarakatuh brothers and beloved sisters.

Just a question on my mind, so is it obligatory or not to perform Hijrah?

I believe the hijrah is almost a 'must' for prophets as they will be chased out of their community for preaching Allah's Will. Not a scenario for us..
