Is it permissible to befriend a jinn?

my dear brothers and sisters!

I have always wondered if it is possible to befriend or contact jinns in any way and if it is allowed. I have read many articles, but I am unsure and confused as many people share different opinions here. Does anyone acctually know if it is possible and if it is permissible. Make sure to back your arguments with verses from our beloved Quran
