I am a Christian deciding whether to convert to Islam or not, but I still don't know what to say or what to recite during the prayer, can I read it in English as I don't speak Arabic and the only phrase I know is "Allahu Akbar" (God Is the Greatest)

It is necessary to recite Surah Al-Fatiha (first chapter of the Holy Quran) in the prayer. Prayer without reciting Surah Al-Fatiha is invalid.

You can find transliteration of the Arabic verses and prayer parts. You can learn the words using the transliteration or read them from a paper.
